Another dead bicyclist, another day in the life of a speed addicted society

Hans Noeldner is one of our local saints. He’s got a great blog. He’s one of the few thinkers out there who actually seems to understand the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics and its implications for how we live & organize our society.

Today he got a great letter to the editor in the Capital Times about a woman who was recently killed while, yup, JRA, violating no laws. The letter was entitled: ” Hans Noeldner: Like cyclist’s death, our way of life is a tragedy.” Exactly.  And as far as I know, the perpetrator was not charged or even ticketed. Bicycling is now a crime punishable by death.
